When we flow into the collective unconscious, connect with the network of life energy, we become simple in the way schools of fish swim, in the way birds fly in synchrony without planning or active reasoning. We experience the interaction between mind and substance.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1022505800507511623.post-31171858775348151292011-10-25T00:09:00.000-05:002011-10-25T00:12:19.202-05:00<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGEvHeJyH-n24YSJR13qk3eX6UNgFrM0NjlFUb5enMgATQlp11X2HyoOtxUJcKY5Fg7IKclymcAYFodanoxZcq3sC27Rw9BRO0WaGvLTxftFHVp2nM5pwYmnSd1JoBW4XnP7k3xQPCosw/s400/mid+Oct+Austin+2011+014.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5667292769923889474" />Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1022505800507511623.post-17375477428788839402011-10-19T01:39:00.000-05:002011-10-19T01:42:03.328-05:00<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 226px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBoX4pFgW2CFcpG9n5H37oQVWi_Qd3uc0PQnx8VK2laNqkC_mpbljXPhND8HEmIUQE3RTHivr1ufrY3EN5gkV38A5GhlRMaelBrGkBnT5VsTD3WqcIwcWtx0abm7ubwTo23w7jGdMhffI/s400/shoal+creek%252C+spiderman+10-11+029.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5665089595443057234" />Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1022505800507511623.post-22031837352663627212010-10-13T21:12:00.000-05:002010-10-13T21:12:37.980-05:00<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 299px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZq4BaPNsW2yYe_NhVxy73GTVpRTl_uNTkrpHlFHwIM28bSVFlSOMaMRvdrRdKC3FTOi2EaimUitK50Ez7v2_ecnEZH4JchsUDmBxVHSo55EHnHvF1cTZuVy7vf4ukReztwJiNjuyVl4c/s400/Oct+Night+Shots+10-10+010.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5527718763475265842" />
Imagine your hand is very large, and there is a small bird perched on each fingernail. Open and close your hand in different ways. Move your hand about as you open and close the fingers. Now, imagine the hand is invisible and all you can see are the birds. Open and close, open and close the invisible hand. That’s how flocks of sparrows fly, individuals, but invisibly connected. A stretchy elasticity seems to bond them.

This morning – among the branches of sycamores with their brown, thinning leaves – the little birds (open, close, open, close) were so beautiful.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1022505800507511623.post-90871995346103597432010-08-25T23:38:00.000-05:002010-08-25T23:38:55.369-05:00<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 301px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrvLyMchh8dhFXpGqOfCIaEp1nrsF5yzL2jkl-cSCQJS64FCuKGzhU9Grh1h32wMXw2fAWzMRyC1xcr25OgZz2VOZ1h6otUe5aSCVQkUH5TJ4eYkY0npJOeAaFuBqhtqnXruzk-vNYLXU/s400/Wash.+Park,+CO+8-10+004.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5509570835109286242" />
I've run into articles that lament that most fundamental principles and inventions have already been discovered, and Newton, Kepler, Copernicus, Galileo were fortunate to live during fertile centuries that shaped a golden era of human discovery.

Some state if Edison hadn’t discovered the light bulb, and Einstein relativity, someone else would have stumbled on to it sooner or later.

I keep thinking while there is some truth to that, it’s of value to consider the order in which discoveries occur. For each invention has its own cascade of subsequent developments that distract us from other sequences. For example, if electricity had not been nurtured when it was, perhaps we’d be using some chemical reaction as our main source of artificial light, or complex arrangements of mirrors, and other discoveries and inventions would have branched out from there. If the compass and the mathematics for triangulation hadn’t surfaced, maybe we would have focused more on intuitive forms of navigation still used by societies that were bypassed by industrialization, utilizing parts of the brain that are currently dormant in western society. The combustion engine won out on the wings of chance over electric vehicles – at least for the last century.

Are there basic principles not visible to us because we have built so much upon one set of fundamental laws, our structures would not stand upon other equally valid truths? The path of discoveries have lead us to our way of life in 2010. There may be variant operating systems that are very big, yet to be discovered, conceptually foreign to how we currently function day to day.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1022505800507511623.post-21015108367900284302010-06-24T22:00:00.000-05:002010-06-24T22:00:53.029-05:00<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLA3hrlagpsGiv_2DSpdRF4sIzqzY5YveVs0VKDZi7AwViFbk_DIMLz9GquWrkXbNrW5go254m2p2FpGWjAwNrW5dVN66y2b7jFPpvu9e80LmgvmLQqVGYfkjTwdOje7N-LzVpNV64VLo/s400/early+June+BerkOak+2010+001.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5483952548049731714" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhM9LgopZ0fAeWT42781PiN4mPxx5yVZpHOLwL2pHozgmUOWF-xz3PLvexFHs98Or6Ud0TYLtcmS9MFQEoECrxKHpVr-Aw_QO7bnbJhVirQmO5fZLfr-5mZ1ukE4UJh9eo5N3lD-k01dDs/s400/early+June+BerkOak+2010+002.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5483952545041746194" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-Et8mZvE-TEviD6xAB2jj_e_LlqncHVFYH53LPwTxwtR9W-g9YJwr8BDHLxpz7Krvz4YeNTDlxbBuXEUcBDEyNp5GN6xDdRhIzRLpBWSQxvMSFT6-u9I1r_3f7g6IFIjUshftKa5tXb0/s400/early+June+BerkOak+2010+003.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5483952528800218754" />

IT is so big that any time we talk about IT, any time we study IT, what we say is only a part-truth, like the blind men touching the elephant.

IT is so big that with ITs millions of threads and faces, multidimensional currents and complicated intersections, we won’t be able to grasp IT until the human brain is connected to the capacity of artificial intelligence.

On the other hand, we grasp IT now every time we live fully a single breath.

Perhaps we connect to universe like a cable to a data bank.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1022505800507511623.post-28352786473673992172010-03-29T23:22:00.000-05:002010-03-29T23:23:13.653-05:00<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiasxlPXsiFLr7cP0L0AbblXAHDCyVNQGxIpqCnvI0GNHVjpwNpABrj-fq9XOPmJUwg_ZvHA5RHvkU9QwMYk_g0yzxoVxZIlJ19stVHywp5aMPkpXwt1XmMl97r-Gu2CJ9wzJzd-15tWBc/s400/spring+night+Bushrod+3-10+025.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5454277099043327490" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmL98MROYxMPB5bpT7Ud4pg15TUV1hNg3z1aJTsHKbfWOvNDYNxyDFp0mEIhgkiQ3mtvpsaxFccBckLDsHNcVy7tx2CmIAjHwGe506sMAM9LHQ7guAEWm0IXb7Z2tTGB5rgDIKLVAGPR8/s400/spring+night+Bushrod+3-10+027.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5454277091274391314" />
'Astronomers have compiled evidence that what we've always thought of as the actual universe...represents a mere 4 percent of what's actually out there. I see I've just written something I published in this blog some time past, but here it is, expressing itself again this morning:

The short of it is, we have all these phenomena we westerners often avoid examining because we have no logical explanation given the earth-based physics/science that seems to work quite fine explaining everything else. However, now we have the relatively recent discovery that 90% or so of all matter in the universe is matter we can’t at this time perceive. I propose that this matter is composed of vibrating threads, forming a multidimensional cloth weaving dimensions of time and space together. It’s not just a cute thought that we are all connected. It is a physical fact that has been intuitively accepted in eastern thinking for centuries. A butterfly flaps its wings; the fabric resonates.

I think this theory could address phenomena including pre-cognition, synchronicities, and the physical synchronization among creatures such as flocks of starlings in flight or identical twins, the motion of schools of fish and stingrays, insect colonies that function like a brain with physically independent cells, and some events we speak of as miracles.

I'm not read up on dark matter and am not trained in physics, though I have some familiarity with the study of cosmology and the origins of the universe. This idea just seems to bring simple logic to connections and relationships we experience at this time as mysteries that defy the odds of coincidence. I'm sure many have expressed some form of this concept, but I give it my independent yes.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1022505800507511623.post-57291601083324099242009-02-27T22:31:00.000-06:002009-02-27T22:32:53.468-06:00<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwuUwiszd4pElaZ0wzyzZek8QxnImqOBQBfj37iK7YHP9S9Bt0opFwme9NAZDimb_ka-gIn2mquPpO62T4PeKlpton_01LGGVLHxkPu7J-rvAupgTu6drr1L2EpElfI3peyI6xfikT3UY/s400/tulips,+street+shots+008.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5307701450592050802" />Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1022505800507511623.post-13975641137835024092009-02-25T00:44:00.000-06:002009-02-25T00:48:48.733-06:00<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 276px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGvnXOkO97P4-nkbrIvSDV1ffMdIM4hefFxN9bq5ymEjgiUex51kRX2QIBSJx-GI4GEnDS27xv1yAlg7eFW9ziQurFKN4gmrH2n9w9dgE12uGENgD5J2KnHO2A1ouqs7Cnk4dnQi68jHw/s400/JanSF+052.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5306599204929710866" />

(I found this book intro tonight while hunting down the title of the song that contains the quote in tonight's post of 4ozs.blogspot.com which I was humming after reading Rob Brezsny's horoscopes for next week.

I'd forgotten I started to write a book my first stay in San Francisco. All I wrote was this intro, which seemed lacking to me, and a bit of an outline.

Below the intro is a quote from an astronomy article I found tonight on the internet, and below that, an incomplete summary of my theory about synchronicities.)

SPIRIT FISH

21 November 2006

I-Intro
A- General
“Despite the lack of stars, the Dark Ages were not completely dark. A rare process caused hydrogen gas to glow dimly.”

I am reading “The Dark Ages of the Universe”—an article by Abraham Loeb in this month’s Scientific American. It’s a meaty paper that assumes a lot of background knowledge I don’t have.

Still, one concept I glean from it is that even when it was dark, it was light.

A scientific doorway into mysticism is a concept perhaps contradictory to spiritual practice.

Don’t think about it-experience it.

Don’t learn, be.
[the press to write this book came from the silence when I tried to explore what had happened/was happening to me. I had little place to release something that felt so big to me.]

We marvel at the experiences-the epiphanies that take us out of ourselves.

We have senses that bring in data-and a brain to assemble that data into useable information. The brain is hungry to assemble the pieces.

Maybe we’re not supposed to be content, but hungry, hungry enough to move forward.

The more we learn the logic behind the magic [just like our ancestors did regarding eclipses and thunder storms and why the sun ‘rises’ every day] the more we may relax to permit progress toward more genuine lives, toward inner and outer peace. Now much of the world lives in abject poverty looking just for food and shelter, and others of us drive around in cars with little real direction looking for more and more things to buy that seem to satisfy our real hunger, but just cover it up.

The simplest reason I think about the physics of time and space and the origins of the universe is because I am hungry to know.

And just as the hunger to know has carried humans around the globe and into the sea and up to the moon, it may well carry us to new [perhaps very old] ways to communicate, to travel that we have scarcely imagined. (A spiritual evolution for humans.)

Don’t ignore and hide unusual experiences and hunger. Keep them in the open. Take notes.
=
'And gravitational lensing is essentially the only method astronomers have for tracing out the web of dark matter that pervades the Universe, and determining how dark energy has impacted the evolution of this web. “It’s really hot scientifically,” she says.

Like dark energy, dark matter is also invisible. It accounts for most of the matter in the universe, but exactly what it is remains unknown. Scientists only know that dark matter differs significantly from normal matter (which is essentially composed of protons and neutrons) that dominates everyday life.

“What we’re made of is just about five percent of everything that’s in the universe,” Gates says.'

University of Chicago (2009, February 24). So what are they?

The gist of my hypothesis is that it's the web of dark matter that forms the grid that connects us to different points in time and space, different events, individuals, living creatures, objects, that interconnects among many dimensions. (The grid more like a nest of curly, spiraling hair--haha--than a simple two dimensional tic-tac-toe grid.) Dark matter is the fabric of the connection of each individual's awareness to universal consciousness.

Synchronicities could just be intersections within the web of dark matter.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 301px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMyQXpBuEiON7ALIGFGcvoTWp2VY3XxdKEYNcj0yH0dPEMzlmjddAhsoOocQvABTsT7aM5Y7yNFpM-0WZJ7iI0yMXNiCc2rJepVz_P1r3az2hyphenhyphenbFh-K3cl2YDgz70-bMeG_-ffP_kbngc/s400/Feb+2009+SF+004.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5306574752162847554" />Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1022505800507511623.post-61226367974169957072008-11-17T23:47:00.001-06:002008-11-17T23:49:07.509-06:00<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhO872l5HozXsnEaJf5i09u0Dl3SVPTBFzplG90s_DpDe7Yd4wwkeJVflJveA42sO1m4IRm2uAreIzvUeotOqjbDBT6_ULFQN-C1CquTxoYtOpjb4qB3AEx3fRMeDrVIc5k8He_Ia50tK3Q/s400/Austin+11-08+010.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269865582720609730" />

nomadicfishesUnknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1022505800507511623.post-43465652937159612008-11-07T07:54:00.002-06:002008-11-07T08:01:07.000-06:00<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinYdOO55X2Xk_ZdKM7hWe_WYMGysEjOqeXJs7Fj3eDn2oORo0zUzDfmhJSg8FObJtjsKvbCo22x7btmWBooRGXajorvp_6k4XOWoN4GhhyphenhyphenjjFXnR7pyv2ReFziyVOSXd9qeCk3EqrdXrsH/s400/190.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5265777606054846226" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1k-hHo1pVrRtYBCoYTfs-Zibd6s54J2rH3hQgA4s_0Y7c5jGZWD-suxMEA-1rGCeCJE2SP4zhxOTvGjY_hV-7hipOsManBhEm_wlpwyHoxNpp5pz_lDo8zyLJEK1Uf_UHuCdz4Z_f5TcC/s400/189.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5265777601160641890" />
Something erupted in a complete shape, and I had to jump out of the tub dripping wet and find paper and pen before I lost the gossamer wholeness. Maybe the nest of curling filaments is a nest of twisted slinkies.

I took part in a class once, three women with bohs (staffs) walking around the three bases and home plate of a small baseball field. As we walked, speeding up, slowing down, we lifted our bohs up to zenith and back to waist level. I saw the tips of the staffs trace concentric spirals in the air.

I got the idea for drawing the spirals from walking around and around the yard here a year later. As I made circles, I was also moving with the rotation of the earth on its axis, it's revolution around the sun, the sun hurtling through space. So, my walking was not just a loop.

The point, of course, is the intersections among the filaments, what we call synchronicities.

This morning, to leave behind mosquitoes who were flocking to my calves, I left the yard to practice near the garage.
